2-2-4. Application version upgrade

If the application has been upgraded, please follow the two procedures below depending on the type of upgrade.

■ Major version upgrades

A major version upgrade refers to an upgrade in which the first digit of the version number (e.g. V12.0 ⇒ V13.0) is updated and accompanied by the issuance of a release note.

In the case of a major version upgrade, the applications before and after the upgrade will be treated as different applications on the client.

After a major version upgrade, you need to download the latest installer and install it on your client.

For details on how to install Studio, please refer to < 2-2-2. Application installation >.

■ Minor version upgrades

A minor version upgrade refers to an upgrade in which the last digit of the version number (e.g., V12.0 ⇒ V12.1) is updated without issuing a release note.

In the case of minor version upgrades, the applications before and after the upgrade are treated as the same application on the client.

When SkyVisualEditor Studio updates release, the message dialog indicating that the application is not latest shows on application activation.

Please read through the dialog and update the application.
