4-5. What are the changes in Version12.0?

There are some changes in SkyVisualEditor V12.0. 

  1. Windows version is now available as IE and Silverlight support are going to end.   
  2. Service and design on user portal are changed. 

Here is the details for those changes below. 


1. Windows version is now available as IE and Silverlight support are going to end.

The current studio (Internet Explorer version) still works after the new Studio is released. However, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Silverlight 5 support are going to end. 

As Microsoft support ends, we are going to stop service for the Internet Explorer version. (the date is not fixed yet)

In order to support this, we have started providing Windows version Studio that runs on the user client from V12.0.

There is no functional difference between the IE version and the Windows version, and pages edited and saved in the IE version can continue to

be used in the Windows version.

Please consider migrating to the Windows version.

2. User portal service and design changes

In order to provide new services, the user portal has been changed as follows.

  • Added download link and launch button for Windows version on < Home Screen >
  • Changed to display SkyVisualEditor notifications on the home screen 
    on the < Login Screen >.
  • Changed the overall screen design of the user portal
