(37)-b-1. Background Image

Choose a static resource image or input a public URL.


Choose a static image by clicking the  button to bring up a list of available static resources.


When using an external image, input the URL to that image.

Click the “Open” button to place the image on the canvas.

Images from outside the web site will not show on the Studio but will after deploying the page.

As a Salesforce specification, the images must have a secure URL which starts from “https”. If the image starts from “http”, the image will not show due to security limitations.

・If you are using an iPad, please use iPad OS 14.0 or higher. If your OS is older than that, the background image may not be displayed.

Photo

When "Photo" is selected, "Set Background Photo" button appears in the Free hand input item.

In the case of "Static Resource" and "Outside Website," the image specified at the time of page creation is always displayed as the background of the Free hand input item, 
but in the case of "Photo," any image can be specified when editing a record in Salesforce.

When you click the "Set Background Photo" button, a file selection dialog will appear and the selected image will be drawn as the background of the Free hand input item.

If you are using a tablet, you can also activate the camera from the Set Background Image button and use the photo you have taken as the background of the Free hand input item.
