Supplemental information about the association of tabs and channels

Adding a tab on the Slack component will cause the Slack channel to become associated with SkyVisualEditor for Slack.

The association between a Slack channel and SkyVisualEditor for Slack can be verified by doing the following

  1. Right-click on the channel in the sidebar on Slack
  2. Select "Open Channel Details" from the context menu
  3. Open the Integration tab on the pop-up that appears

Tab Specifications

Add a tab for "Account Alpha Opportunity Channel" on the Slack component with the "Opportunity with Account Alpha" record open as shown below.

If you then open the "Opportunity with Account Beta" record and check the Slack component display, you will not see a tab for the "Account Alpha Opportunity Channel".

Since it is assumed that the Slack channel to be associated with a record is different for each record, the information on the tabs is managed in conjunction with the record, as shown above.
